This track is awesome. I really do like this one. Before I even read the description, I thought this was for a video game and then I read you were inspired by VG OSTs. I love video game music so this one was quite awesome to me and it made me nostalgic for older video games like N64-ish (especially the first part) with higher quality music but that's just me This really has a lot packed into it but it all fits and flows together extremely well. I've heard songs from other users that try to just put a whole bunch of variations which, it sounds fine, but it just doesn't flow as nicely. This track is pretty top notch and I like that a lot. Plus the whole nostalgia trip really got me, even if that really wasn't what you were going for hehe.

Thanks a bunch, buddy ^^ I'm glad you liked it. Such submissions are become pretty rare nowadays, in this case because of the length. People want immediate mainstream music (or sometimes, "music") and they don't actually care about quality... at all. I plan to do some VG covers somewhere in the future, so stay tuned ;)

This one, to me sounds really kewl. I LOVE the intro . I must say, you've definitely captured a dark sort of dream like scene here. I like the calmness of it. The drums are pretty awesome too. I like those although sometimes it sounds like the volume gets lower and higher right in the middle of a drumline. Another thing, the ending seems to end very abruptly but with a fade out. It sounds kind of weird yo me I guess. Maybe if the fade out were slower or somthing but yeah anyways, good job :D.
yeah i tried to get a pulsing sound from the drums, but when i crescendoed for an transition, it sounded kind of weird, so i fixed it up as best as i could. well, the thing is that i use fade outs all the time :P those were the two main problems of the song, thanks for the great review!

...and stuff. It sounds like it has some sadness in there and then it goes off into a dark sort of beat and then it just gets more dark. After reading the description I guess I could hear this in some kind of zombie movie/game or whatever form of media that deals with an epidemic, but I like zombies. I like all the instruments and how you use a lot of different ones. It's kewl.

Dark and almost relaxing???
Yeah in a way I feel it's a bit relaxing but maybe, that's just me. I also wish the volume was louder but I can't really complain, I have the same problem.
I agree, it is pretty unpredictable and it seems a bit random at times but still good. It shows that your music can be versatile.
I like the piano with the beat at the first part. I wanna say make it louder but I think that's just because I want to hear it more. I think the volume you have now stays with the mood. Overall, I really like the dark mood different instruments.
Yeah, eq's can be tricky with songs like this one..I still have to figure it out :P

I plan on detailing the piano a lot more, due to popular demand. It seems a little too simple for this kind of song, but i'm really not sure what to do with it without making this song sound dirty and unorganized. I dunno why but the high notes make me want to laugh at the first part(not in a bad way) but when all the instrumentals come in, it starts to sound pretty kewl altogether. The 3/4 time is a bit awkward at first but of course it's so popular to do 4/4 so it's good to go outside the box eh? I've listened to this song enough now, that the time dosen't even sound so awkward anymore hehe. Good Job!
Well thank you, Kogasu! I appreciate it, man. And you are exactly right. 4/4 is used so much, not to mention in my OWN songs, I thought I'd jump outside the box for once. And I'm not quite sure why i used that high pitched synthesizer, but for some reason, when i listened to it without it, it didn't seem right to me. The only reason it stayed in the song is because when i try to use Poizone, i have to put down notes and put the part on "repeat" so i can cycle through the samples lol. Then i ended up just leaving it in. And yeah, it does give kind of a giddy feeling lol. But Hey! Thanks for taking the time to review my song.
